The majority of my pics with people can be found here:

If I had to pick the most interesting experience ever, I would have to go with eating at a Yonkers, NY diner with Manticora at 3:30am. Definitely something I never thought I'd ever get to say I did.
Meeting Jon Oliva was probably one of the happiest moments of my life as well.

I've met lots of musicians and said things like "great show" or "mind if I get a picture" (actually just Mikael Akerfeldt on that one). But I've had good conversations with members of lots of smaller-scale bands, CJ Boyd, Men As Trees, Romance of Young Tigers, and of course Kenoma immediately spring to mind, as well as with Brann Dailor from Mastodon with whom I talked Genesis with for some time (the singer/guitarist of Priestess was also a part of that discussion) and Tommy Rogers from Between the Buried and Me who shared my distaste that they were only permitted two songs on the Prog Nation tour. Then he said they'd be back headlining, which was a lie.

Oh yeah, Biff from Saxon was a riot. We were invited to the Hard Rock Cafe a block from BB Kings after the show, and I was having him do an ID for my radio show, and in the middle of me explaining it to him, he interrupts me and goes: "look, I've been doing this since before you were born, I know what the fuck I'm doing!", in a completely joking manner, of course. It led to me getting what has been by far the most personal ID yet for the show. Biff is such a great guy. He's like if your wise awesome grandfather was badass and metal.

Wow so I'm going to go right out and say I really hate you out of jealousy for meeting all of them and then showing us the proof. That def beats the hell out of everything I've seen up to this point.

I've done this once, because I think it's lame, frankly. It was Rob Dukes (Exodus), in Oslo, Norway last year. We were sitting out the back of the bar drinking and the band had to take their gear through there out to the truck. Every time Gary or Lee or whoever else went through they were just going about their business, but Rob was constantly looking for people to acknowledge him, so I shook his hand as he went past.

That's really cool. Everyone I've spoken to says Biff is great. I need to interview him before they retire. I wish I had time to do interviews these days
