All depends....

I saw them last summer also and they were good. It was a free show and there was a lot of sitting middle aged fartfanugens there, just wanting the hits. At DTE however, everyone in the pavillion was standing (besides those couple of lazy fat fartfanugens), and everyone was really enjoying themselves, and the solos and muscianship was just phenomenal. And they always change their setlist, and that along with venue, can be a big difference. With that said, it was epic. They also had to top Over The Rainbow, who were also quite stellar.

I had the pleasure and honor of opening for Blue Oyster Cult in Laconia, NH back in 2004 and they were excellent live back then.

i saw them back in what must have been like 2004 or 2005 in a town of like 200 called deborgia montana. they were there for an opening of a bar, and must have got a huge deposit cause probably only 250 or 300 people showed up. they still managed to kick plenty of ass and the drummer did a beasty solo for like 5 minutes straight.

Saw them last year in Tacoma and they were outstanding. Great setlist that included the usual suspects plus rare nuggets like Joan Crawford, Veteran of the Psychic Wars and Workshop of the Telescopes. Dharma can still shred - definitely recommended.
