Ok, i've heard the deathgrind tag for them as well, but a band like Aborted is also considered deathgrind, and they lean much more death metal than Misery Index.

I once saw Aborted by "accident", I believe it was @ GMM 2005, and they were insanely brutal. And it's not even my genre.

The term "grindcore" is used very loosely these days. I hear people call Aborted, Misery Index, Cattle Decapitation and current Napalm Death as grindcore. I just don't see it. I'd call them alljust death metal, maybe with different elements but not really grindcore.

I'm no grindcore expert but I have a problem calling any band who's songs are more than ninety seconds grindcore. And I think so those bands have a lot more structure than what I consider grindcore.
