Best EoS/Dan Swanö release?

I'm a little drunk and I want your opinion here. Let's get to the point: If you're a fan of metal, you should be somwhat familiar with legendary Swedish musican and producer Dan Swanö. If you're not, that's ok too. Go do your homework and come back with an answer

A very close three way tie between Spectral Sorrows, Moontower and Crimson I.

Good choices. Personally I'm a Crimson II guy but those would all rank highly for me. As well as Unorthodox.

Unfortunately they're no longer around. Definitely check out the other ones that Wine mentioned too though. Crimson is amazing, it's basically one 40-minute song and Mikael Akerfeldt does some guest growls.

Oh shit. This stuff is great. New to me as well. Spectral Sorrows sounds excellent with Dan Seagrave artwork to boot...

Thank you for the recommendation.

Glad you like it

They really haven't released a bad album, although Cryptic is generally considered their worst by far because it's the only one without Dan Swano and the band wasn't really focused without him around.

Moontower is Dan's solo album and Crimson II was basically just him and a few guests, despite being released under the band's name.
