Faith No More -- Frankfurt, Germany -- June 22nd, 2009
City: Frankfurt, Germany
Venue: Jahrhunderthalle (capacity: 4.500, the place was packed!) Date: June 22nd, 2009 21.15 - 22.45 (90 min) Reunited (Peaches & Herb cover) From Out of Nowhere Land of Sunshine Caffeine Evidence Surprise! You're Dead video Last Cup of Sorrow Cuckoo for Caca Easy Ashes to Ashes Midlife Crisis Introduce Yourself King for a Day The Gentle Art of Making Enemies Be Aggressive Epic Just A Man ----------------------------------- Chariots Of Fire/Stripsearch As The Worm Turns ----------------------------------- Take This Bottle I was a bit pissed that they kicked out 3 of my alltime-favourite songs, which where part of the previous 2009 reunion-shows: The Real Thing, Chinese Arithmetic, We Care A Lot ![]() But beside this little disappointment it was a really great show, the band was in a good mood, played really tight and Mike Patton's singing and stage acting is still insane (what a maniac!)! So I left the venue with a big smile on my face ![]() My 3rd FNM show so far (after 1995 and 1997), and I hope not the last! Last edited by sauhund; 06-23-2009 at 12:16 AM. |

Yeah I'd want to hear The Real Thing but getting Land of Sunshine and Ashes to Ashes is sweet. I'm not sure if any band has ever written 2 better albums back to back then broken up. King for a day and Album of the year are both masterpieces in my not so humble opinion.
That being said I'm still old school and think they should play Zombie Eaters at every show. I will NEVER get tired of that song.

I'm surprised they play so much from King For A Day. Not that it's a bad thing, 'Just a Man' and 'King For A Day' are two of my favorite songs from them.

It is a little surprising but it's such a great album and they know the songs weill so I can see why they want to play it.
I never got to see them on the Album of the Year tour and would KILL to hear Paths of Glory and Naked in front of the computer. I'm not sure they have ever played Paths of Glory live but may have seen it on you tube once. When I read the song is written about a Stanley Kubrick story it became that much cooler to me.
