Man, this is like a condensed version of a Rockstar Mayhem festival. Thank dog it's a short, small-market tour. Poor 'thrax.

To me it was a lot more of a slight that Slipknot headlined the 2000 Tattoo the Earth tour over Slayer.

At the time Slipknot had one album out and Slayer had been around for 18 years and were already legends.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels this way but when you go out on tour right after you put out a new album and you aren't even the headlining band doesn't that kind of lose the edge of touring for your new album? I felt the same way a few years ago when the "Reunited" Anthrax were on the road w/ Rob Zombie and they only got like 35-40 minutes. And just like that I'm sure Anthrax will still only get like 35-40 minutes again and still not be able to play many new songs. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for an Anthrax/Megadeth tour later on in the year.

This is the same Scott Ian that was crying a few years back that their album wasn't selling because he couldn't find it at bestbuy. That guy would do anything for a buck.

And i don't like slipknot, but they are headlining over anthrax because they are more popular right now, sell more albums right now, and are more of a draw than anthrax. Simple as that.

At least they're co-headlining. No matter how popular Shitknot are, this is just blasphemy.
