Damn I wish Long Island had actual good cover bands. We just have shitty core bands popping out like Asian babies.

LA is said to have a lot of core bands popping out too, but yet i have not seen any trace of a scene down here. maybe it's cause i don't care about them

I don't care about them either, and that's what's disheartening about it. I hear of them just through talking with friends here, seeing local shows, and the internet. At least it's keeping quiet like it belongs over there, can't say it's the same here

well over here there is a huge thrash movement. but most of the fans are dumb asses and they make the real people look bad. plus the bands have no originality except for a small few

Well there are always the unoriginals in masses, but at least you have few good thrash bands, we have all shitty core bands (who don't just make people look bad, they make metal look bad).
