Sadus were my favorite band for 10 years. Total speed metal with one of the best bass players on the planet Steve DiGiorgio. They're often compared to Slayer but they're more like Vio-Lence with better vocals.

I still think Swallowed in Black is one of the 20 best cd's ever made. Between Exhorder - The Law, Violence - Opressing the Masses and Sadus I've been on a total 80's thrash kick. Listening to Dark Angel - Darkness Descends right now and that's right up there too.

I've finally gotten into these guys. I checked out Birdflesh too. Not my thing but interesting to say the least.

My friend asked me to describe Trivium and I said old school meets nu metal kinda. I hear some Metallica in there and some Bullet for my valentine also.

The only song we didn't mention that absolutely kills is that Scylla song on Shogun. Bad ass!
