Korn -- Denver, CO -- April 29th, 2009

This was an OK show. Lamb of God the prior night at the Fillmore put on a louder, tighter show. Emphasis on older songs here. Not much in the way of stage production at all. Who is the drummer they have now? He's mediocre.

This is a really great setlist full of old classics. Very glad they are not playing songs off Untitled or SYOTOS even if i like a few tracks off those albums.

Can't wait for the new album which is supposed to be a back to roots album which will be recorded the same way they recorded the first album along with the producer Ross Robinson who produced the first album. This will either be a complete fail or a great success.

Korn sucks. And that is the truth.

It might be a cover-album, and with Robinson = epic fail.

WOW! I thought my days of seeing Korn were done. After seeing that setlist and thinking they're playing clubs now I'd be all over that.

correction

i made a single correction to the setlist above.
the second song was actually "chi", not "ass itch".
sorry about the error.
everything else is correct.

I'm kinda surprised to say this but I'm really thinking I might go see this on the 29th. Whenever I see phrases that the opening band will be "battle of the bands" winner thats actually means please don't show up until Korn plays but w/ that set I will prob have to see this.

That's what makes this site so cool. I think a lot of people would have had little interest in seeing Korn with "no name" openers but that setlist rewards the people who were with them from day 1. Glad to see them drop shoots & ladders since it's played out. Clown will NEVER get old to me and I haven't heard some of these songs live since they played the old Hammerjacks many moons ago.
