Amon Amarth -- Baltimore, MD -- April 26th, 2009

I arrived after Lazarus A.D., but Skeletonwitch was awesome as usual.

Vengeance Will Be Mine
Fire From The Sky
Limb From Limb
Sacrifice for the Slaughter God
Crushed Beyond Dust
Baptized in Flames
Beyond the Permafrost
Soul Thrashing Black Sorcery
Upon Wings of Black
Within My Blood

Goatwhore was ok...I'm not familiar with them though.

Amon Amarth was pretty awesome. First time seeing them. It was sweet that they threw in Across The Rainbow Bridge.

Twilight of the Thunder God
Free Will Sacrifice
Asator
Varyags of Miklagaard
For the Stabwounds in our Backs
Runes to My Memory
Guardians of Asgaard
Fate of Norns
Bleed for Ancient Gods
Across The Rainbow Bridge
Death in Fire
Victorious March
----
Cry of the Blackbirds
Pursuit of Vikings

That's a mighty good Amon Amarth set. Even though it's kinda typical I still highly dig it.

I have been begging the vikings to play Rainbow Bridge for some time now like 6 tours. I asked them to play it in Jersey 2 nights before and they didn't but since i told them i was goin to be at the Baltimore show. When i got there Olavi, Fred, and Johan S, told me they were goin to play it tonight . It is such a great song. Sounded amazing outside during their sound check and then even better when i was inside. (if anyone wants to know i was the one all the way to the RIGHT headbanging and windmilling and singing my head off to it )

I'm seeing them Friday night in Orlando. I'll post the set list when I can, plus The Absence are suppose to be playing the show aswell, so I'll try for their set too.
