Spinal Tap -- Seattle, WA -- April 20th, 2009
Okay, so it isn't a genuine Spinal Tap tour but rather the Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer "Unwigged and Unplugged" tour where they play various songs from both Tap records, "A Mighty Wind" and Shearer solo albums - sort of a half rock/half comedy show. The show started and ended with brief acappella bits that I didn't recognize and included a question and answer period about halfway through and several video clips in between songs. It drew a pretty big crowd to the Paramount that included a ton of Tap fans. Kind of crazy to draw this kind of crowd 25 years on for a show from a band that wasn't real in the first place, but cool all the same. Since this is METAL setlists, the Tap songs are marked with an *.
