Los Angeles people, for tickets at will call at the Whisky, does anyone know if you actually get a real ticket, or it's just some list at the door?

I believe it's a list at the door. Are you coming out to a show?

Growing up is dumb.
I've already seen enough engagement ring and baby posts by people my age and I'm only 22.

I was sick of seeing that with my peers at 17.

Well, the engagement stuff I don't really mind. Sometimes I shake my head at the individuals posting about it, but I'd rather see that than a shitload of baby pictures.

It started happening the summer of my senior year of high school, every girl I know was getting knocked up, and there were so many pregnant girls at my graduation.

I'll be 26 tomorrow, there was 42 kids in my graduating class, and I am convinced that my whole graduated class been repopulated in that time.

I will say with the engagement stuff, I'm glad to see that people are still taking responsibility for knocking someone up.

If I remember right, it's just a generic convenience store ticket stub, not an actual printed ticket like you'd get a big club, a theater or an arena.

Lame. Nice to see it's not just our venues and ticket vendors that do this now though. I miss the days when every show had a proper ticket.

So yeah, will be between Vegas and LA in some combination or another in November. Trying to put together a little tour of shows.

I'm so glad to have avoided all that shit through (warning: old person comment approaching) Facebook not being around when I was in school/university

I'm OK with people posting about major events though. Engagements, weddings, births, even birthdays, I'm fine with all of that and I fully accept that the number of fucks I give is less than all the other friends and family these people use Facebook to keep in touch with because they don't care about them enough to tell them big news properly.

What I object to is albums, literally albums, of pics of a kid doing everyday shit. Same goes for pets.
