I know I say this a lot, but I think I've got another really cool project that should be happening over the next month or so. It's gonna take a lot of organization, planning, some kickass gear and quite a lot of luck, but if everything works out then this should turn out really awesome. Stay tuned dudes.

Chicago has just been getting ridiculous with the gun violence lately though. I think it was something like 82 people were shot over the Fourth of July weekend (72 hour period).

Yeah but most of the violence is still more towards the south side. Like Reggies is getting more dangerous to go around sometimes lol

Pitchfork was so much fun! I'll get a full review up later in the week but Slowdive was amazing, new Deafheaven song was killer and Perfect Pussy was so awful.

I missed most of the Deafheaven stream but George sounded like he was having an off day during Unrequited. But glad to hear you liked the new song. I can't wait to hear it. And yeah, Perfect Pussy would be a lot better if they weren't trying to be super noisy.

Honestly if he was having an off day I couldn't tell. It's been since 2011 since I've seen them but they're such a machine now compared to then. George ended up in the crowd I'll go as far to say that Perfect Pussy might be the worst live band I've had mild interest in seeing that I've ever seen.

Big surprise of the weekend was Factory Floor.

Chicago currently has the highest number of murders in the country. I wasn't trying to imply that LA is a wonderful place though. Parts of the city and surrounding suburbs are still ridden with crime, but it has calmed down a lot since the '80s and '90s, when gang violence was at its peak here.

Looks like Motorhead are shaping up to retire. New European tour announced. Fewer dates than normal, rest days in between all shows, much bigger venues than normal.

I think this is it, people.

The day Lemmy retires is the day he dies.
