Execration - Morbid Dimensions

What's with all this fascinating death metal coming out of Scandinavia these past couple years? The artwork leaves much to be desired, but the song on the other hand...

Quote:
Forward-thinking Norwegian death metallers Execration have finished work on their third full-length Morbid Dimensions, to be released via Duplicate Records (Hells Headbangers in the US) in August. The title track from the hour long album can now be streamed online from the following sites:

Morbid Dimensions marks a shift in direction for the Norwegian four piece, drawing in new influences in abundance, and distilling them down to what still sounds like nothing but Execration. Enter the Morbid Dimensions!

"With Morbid Dimensions, Execration leap out of the dungeons and into the spheres, delivering vast plateaus of gloomy, sonic bliss. Trusting the undeniable quality and substance in their material, Execration shuns genre conventions and coquette obscurity in favour of a bold clarity that emphasizes their eerie vibes and raw attitude."

- Espen T. Hangård (Altaar, Killl, noplacetohide)

That doesn't seem to actually be the cover, thankfully. Really looking forward to this. I hope they'll be able to come over here to tour, the recent Obliteration tour seemed to do pretty well. Actually an Obliteration/Execration/Diskord True Norwegian Death Metal tour would be fucking awesome.
