It was a different stage. I thought I was going to this for a long time, shame I couldn't be there today. How was the turnout?

Updated with most of Carcass's set.

Turn-out was good. It wasn't a complete sell out, but there seemed to be a fucking lot of people there all day.

Sound on the main stage was diabolical all day except for Maiden, and it was acceptable for Slayer. I'm told it was the same last year; shit all day until the headliner.

Sound in the tent (where Carcass, Gojira, and Behemoth all played) was great, and on the third stage (where Anthrax played) it was pretty good too, albeit a bit low on the vocals.

In all honesty, basically the same as Slayer with Hannemann.

As someone whose seen them multiple times now with both, Holt is so much tighter and better sounding than Hannemann.
