It might even be longer than that. When I saw them on the Seer tour, the show clocked in at 2 and a half hours with (I think) 7 songs.

I would be perfectly fine with 2.5 hours of Swans live.

Why they don't play their older material? I'd like to hear Helpless Child.

They do, just not much of it. One track during each tour is the norm, usually. Gira reformed Swans with the intention of staying as far away as possible from being a nostalgia act.

That being said, since Swans reformation in 2010, the following from the back catalog have been played...

Sex, God, Sex
Coward
Beautiful Child
Your Property
I Crawled

And on the new album, "Oxygen" is a reworked Gira solo tune.

Throughout this band's history they've pretty much only played new material on tour, including material newer than their current album. I'm actually surprised to see a Seer song on the setlist as nothing off My Father... has been played prior to that tour.

Sex, God, Sex and Beautiful Child were incredible though on that first tour.

As for Oxygen, the song on the I Am Insane demo album is completely different than the final Swans version. It was actually one of my favorite songs off that album and I'm glad to finally see it in an actual finished version even if it sounds nothing like the acoustic demo.

Also, the Boston show is definitely not going to be over two hours due to the Royale nightclub afterwards.

The only problem was that the show ended at 1:30 in the morning, and all the subways were closed. So I had to take a $40 cab ride to the north part of Toronto to catch the last bus to my area. I'd do it again though it it meant seeing a show has powerful and heavy as Swans were.

The show I saw on the My Father tour in 2010 was barely an hour though, not sure how that worked
