Yea I have to say they are one of my favorite bands I've seen live, but of course having only two Mindcrime songs in the set is not exactly what I approve of.

Cool reviews man. I had to work and almost made it for the end of the night bands. If I busted my ass to get there and saw Tesla play Little f'n Suzi over Comin' Atcha Live I would have gone full batshit! I F'n HATE them! Seriously Who Does that? How do they not know that's one of their 2-3 best songs especially with the Hammerjacks crowd since it was such a staple there? Idiots!

The Queensryche set should have been 1-2 songs longer so I'm glad I didn't go to all that trouble for the 4-5 bands I could have caught.

Lineup has essentially sucked since the Scorpions year. They need to get back to that kind of headliner and lineup. The need to get Love/Hate in there next year also...

I know dude, I should have made a huge sign that said "Play Comin' Atcha Live".

And that 2010 lineup doesn't look all that good to be honest. I mean the three really good ones that weren't here this year that were there that year were Cinderella, Trixter, and Scorpions. I thought this years lineup was the best yet. Extreme, Winger, Night Ranger, Tesla, Queensryche, Stryper, Femme Fatale, and Heaven's Edge on the same bill? heck yes.

All that aside what other potential headliner could they bring for next year that is on the same level as Scorpions? I mean Leppard and the Crue are the only other two that are really on the same level I would think. I think Leppard would probably be to big to place on the bill, and Crue are gone after this year anyway.

I believe cool headliner possibilities for next year would be Triumph, Alice Cooper, Poison, Whitesnake, or Europe. If Europe is the headliner next year I don't care who else is on the bill I'm going. They did good this year with adding Heaven's Edge, Femme Fatale, Red Dragon Cartel, and Autograph for the first time, but they need to continue that trend next year and add more bands that haven't played there before. There is quite a few bands that haven't played there before like Hardline, Babylon A.D., Tyketto, TNT, Lizzy Borden, Poison, Europe, and even some newer bands would be cool like The Darkness, Nasty Habit, Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, and H.e.a.t. And I would give a arm and a leg if they made a Damn Yankees reunion happen.

My Reviews

Day 2 I
Day 2 II

I gotta say Autograph.... zzzz

Queensrcyhe was probably the best

Sebastian Bach:

Sebastian Bach (5:50- 6:45)

  • Slave to the Grind (Skid Row)
  • Temptation
  • Big Guns (Skid Row)
  • 18 and life (Skid Row)
  • American metalhead
  • Monkey business (Skid Row)
  • I remember you (Skid Row)
  • Youth gone wild (Skid Row)
(NOTE: Setlist.fm has "All My Friends are Dead" after "I remember you" but I don't recall/have it in my notes. it does make sense that he would play that song since they just released the video for it)

Good reviews, I'm real happy you thought the same of Heaven's Edge as I did. They do have two albums though.

finally someone who agrees!

To be honest, as far as classic rock bands go I think Triumph gets overlooked a lot when compared to Boston, Styx, Foreigner, and the like.

Maybe the most underrated musician of all time. At least by average people.

They would be EXACTLY what it would take to get M3 back on track.

I'd still kill to see Love/Hate and Life, Sex and Death again someday...

I'm a TANK, I'm a TANK! I'm a TAAAAAAAAANK!
