I've been looking everywhere for this clip to post in response to this thread and wearing earplugs at shows. Too bad it's in french but I think everyone here has seen it and can appreciate it.



That clip right there is the reason I started going to metal shows when I was a teenager.

Another Motörhead vote. I'm going to throw in Ministry as well in 2003. Tiny tiny club and 2 drum kits was one of the loudest I've heard.

Yeah, the latest Manowar show in SF was ridiculously loud. Other than that, another vote for Boris and also Torche (on the Boris tour) - both bands nearly blew my eardrums.

Anyways, my loudest concert was Corrupted. Holy fuck were they loud. The entire building was shaking.
