Y&T -- Londonderry, NH -- April 7th, 2014

Night #2. Tupelo Music Hall. Londonderry, New Hampshire.

After a 1 hour, 45 minute trek to get there thanks to an overturned tanker at the 93/495 interchange, I arrived at the Tupelo Music Hall at approximately 515PM. Save for 3 cars in the parking lot, the place looked deserted. I then feared the worst because Dave's voice nearly went last night and thought the show might've been cancelled. Thankfully about 20 minutes later, the band pulls into the lot and I breathe a sigh of relief. I say hi to all of the guys and then proceed to kill another hour in the parking lot chatting with some people I just met.

Doors open promptly at 7PM and I hang out by the merch booth for a while. For those interested, 40th anniversary T-shirts are $25 and go up to 3XL. Y&T logo shirts are $20 and go to 2XL. CDs are $15 a piece (entire catalog available with the exception of the Yesterday & Today albums from the 70s), hats are $20, photos are $5 and bumper stickers are $1.

Show was scheduled to begin at 8, but began at 816. I could instantly tell that this was going to be a better show than last night. If Dave was still feeling like shit, he didn't say anything about it and certainly didn't sound like it. That man's voice is in pristine condition, especially for someone show just hit 60 a few months ago and still does 2 hours each show on a nightly basis.
