TesseracT -- West Springfield, VA -- March 29th, 2014

Full review

Saw Tesseract after seeing a local show on their first tour stop of 2014 over here in the US. NOTE the Intronauts and the Cloudkicker were NOT on this stop. Just them and like 5 opening local bands.

They sounded GREAT. so smooth. if you're a fan, def hit this up. I missed the first song I think, but the internet helped out a bit since apparently I can't tell their songs apart for the most part.

Tesseract (~10-11:06) thanks setlist.fm after my initial fumbling

If they're playing Eden, that is instantly worth it.

I have doubts about this set. The guy who posted it on setlist.fm admitted he wasn't too familiar with the songs. I highly doubt they changed up their usual headlining set. I don't see how they'd play Calabi without a sax player (unless it's a backing track)

I initially posted that one w/ that comment :3 (with like 2 songs that I could identify)- but someone else updated it after me and I don't know how accurate their ears are. They DID have a ton of backing tracks BTW

Ahh fair enough!

Someone on their facebook said they played Eden so i'm inclined to believe they did change things up! I'm even more excited for the show now!

I interviewed Ben Sharp from Cloudkicker after their set at the Orlando date tonight, and the security guard flat out refused to allow Ben to escort me back into the venue (I won't be 21 till 6/19), so I had to miss Intronaut/Tesseract.

Fucking pissed.
