If these bands are on the top of the bill, I don't think there would be many trendy bands who would wanna be on this year if they could do their own thing.

I elluded to this last year and i turned out to be wrong in a lot of people's eyes (although I really liked last year's line up, all the bands I didn't wanna see I was doing interviews during, (just like in 2012).

I think it is ok in this case to count the eggs early because both of those genres are fading fast and nothing has taken it's place yet. So it's the perfect opportunity to showcase the best Metal bands. I will eat crow if I'm wrong, but I think this year, I won't be.

Also, if the lineup does shape up in this direction, everybody had better go this year, so we can show them that they can sell tickets without overtly relying on what's necessarily popular.

The only time I've been to SS in the past was in 2009 with Origin, Dying Fetus and Necrophagist.

That was one sick-ass fucking show.

Oh yeah, and Ensiferum played as well. They were great fun.

You're forgetting the best band from that lineup, Suffocation.

THAT was a great year! The Seattle date was at a huuuuuge venue, and Suffocation got a circle pit going throughout the whole place.... it was chaotic!
