I gave the first album another listen today and I still feel the same way about it. The only great songs on the record are the ones that were on the demo.

It's weird because it's pretty similar to Tempo of the Damned, but that album is much better.

Also, anyone have any ideas on where to order all these new power metal albums coming out? Everything is $15+ if you can find it. I'm looking for the new: Freedom Call, Iron Savior, Primal Fear, Persuader, Stormwarrior, and others. I can't even find a decently priced copy of the new Slough Feg up here. This had better not happen for Edguy and Gamma Ray when those come out (strangely though, I have no doubt it'll be easy to find the new Sabaton).
12/5 - Phantom
12/17 - Havok
12/23 - TSO
1/13 - Enforcer, Warbringer, Cauldron, Exmortus
2/27 - Sacrifice
3/4 - Voivod, Vektor

I've fallen in love with the new Alcest and Woods of Desolation. I listened to these bands before, but these new releases (Shelter and As The Stars) are just some of the most beautiful albums I have heard this year. I'm still eagerly awaiting the new Trap Them and Thou albums so far, and I have hope for the new Teitanblood and Anaal Nathrakh.

Other underrated releases that I would recommend to people would be the new Dephosphorus and Yautja albums.
11/20 - Grimes or Skinless
11/22 - Travi$ Scott
11/24 - King Diamond?
11/27 - Harm's Way
11/28 - ABR or Negative Approach
12/2 - The Sword

I just got the Urban Pioneers debut album in the mail and it is awesome!! Good ole country music. It's the backing members from Jayke Orvis' band.

Hirax bored me to tears but I just jammed the new Suicide Angels tonight and I liked it. Little long at times but a fun album and one of the better ones I've heard this year. New Aborted Fetus was pretty good. I havn't heard to much BDM/Slam come out yet this year but I'm sure there's some good shit I havn't heard yet

Artificial Brain sounds like a Gorguts/Portal/Demilich/Obscura hybrid

If you like that one, keep an eye out for Pyrrhon's new album out later this year. Similar, but different.

New La Dispute is pretty good but it feels really tame compared to their other two albums.
