DisposableJustice and his 25 favorite video games

Alright I'll jump on the bandwagon and list my favorite video games; but before that I should list the systems I had:

-Original NES
- Super NES
- Playstation
- Xbox
- Xbox 360
- PC

this list is in no order, just games that loved playing and if given the chance I would love to play today....

so #25

This game was awesome and I only came about it via a friends recommendation. I remember this came out around the time Metal Gear Solid was becoming very popular and a lot of people (fairly or unfairly) were comparing the two. I loved the story, the controls for the most part were good and the mix of mission types (shoot them up, stealth) kept me thrilled as a 12-13 year old. My personal achievement was finally beating the level where you could not get caught by the guards so you either had to sneak past everyone or silently kill them. A ton of fun, and if I recall correctly this is/was available as a classic game on the Playstation store

YES! I LOVED THAT GAME! Never played the actual game, , but the demo was so rad. I always loved shooting out the lights.

one of my favorite parts was using the taser; you could tase a enemy forever and watch them cook

anyway, #24

God what a fun game; I played this to death not only on my playstation but in the arcade as well. It is a shame the NFL has forced the game to be toned down today, but back in the day just having a player torpedo themselves at the ball carrier was just side splitting fun, not to mention being able to body-slam after the play was over. If I ever came across a large amount of money, buying a original playstation and this game would be #1 on my list

EA came out with their version of Blitz a couple years ago, it was ok but really watered down on the hits and tackles since the NFL is so anal about that shit; I wish Midway or someone would come out with a carbon copy of the old Blitz and even if they couldn't use the NFL teams, it would be a smash hit

I know a lot of people love the N64 version and I like that as well but my friends and I had our fun on the SNES version; simple and fun it was a awesome party game; nothing was more thrilling than getting a blue turtle shell and knocking the lead kart on his ass

That's a classic right there. But forgive me for geeking out; blue turtle shells weren't in the SNES version.

NFL Blitz would be on my list too... such a fun game. It was good, simple, violent fun -- which is what we all really want anyway, right?

Super Mario Kart is another good choice, but adamclark52 is right -- no blue shells in that version.
