The more I look into Japanese "idol" music groups, the more thankful I am that I only like K-pop.

Half the members in J-Pop groups are like 14 or younger

Screw what's 'well-known', your list doesn't need to be David Lynch, Shane Carruth and Jim Jarmusch to be valid, interesting or well validated.
Inception makes my list too. Donnie Darko might... undecided.

To be fair, these are all films I've seen more than once.

1. Donnie Darko
2. American Beauty
3. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
4. Drive
5. Insomnia
6. Brick
7. Adventureland
8. The Breakfast Club
9. Good Will Hunting
10. Ghost
11. Ferris Bueller's Day Off
12. Inception
13. Shutter Island
14. Looper
15. Safety Not Guaranteed

Very entry-level. :/
Adventureland and Safety Not Guaranteed. Nice! Both are very underrated in my opinion.

Those guys are way over my head The only Lynch I can digest is Twin Peaks (which isn't all him, anyway). Dead Man (Jarmusch) was really good, though.

@kalfitegrdan: thanks!

Oh yeah, tried drumming last week and could barely last 10 minutes before needing to throw in the towel, attempted again yesterday and lasted about 30 minutes (nothing fast, just basic stuff). I cannot wait for my chest muscles to recover... I know drumming only makes it worse, but I needed to get some aggression out after not being able to for 3 weeks now!

Okay you guys. Help me figure something out:

Would you rather:

1. Go to BTBAM w/ Deafheaven, Intronaut, Kindred about 45 minutes away - starts at 7:00 PM and costs $20 and BTBAM is performing all of The Parallax 2.

2. Windhand about 20 minutes away - starts at midnight and is free and there's another free show across the street featuring 3 local doom metal bands
