The set is a big improvement compared to what they have played live for a while, but the fact that they're still pretty much ignoring Blood Mountain (apart from Crystal Skull) is annoying, isn't it about time they give some of The Hunter a rest as well?

It's the album they're currently support, no way in hell they won't play half the album.

They've been in support of The Hunter for years now...

Especially seeing that the new album is almost done, I would have thought they'd mix the set up a fair bit, maybe even include a new song or two.

When I saw them in Europe just before The Hunter came out they were playing about an even split between Remission / Leviathan / Blood Mountain, and only one song off Crack The Skye!

Exactly. Their pre-Hunter setlists in 2011 were golden.

Yeah I saw them at Sonisphere in 2011, the set was pretty damn good.

Exactly.

I caught them at Sonisphere Knebworth that year too, as well as at Graspop, and couldn't have asked for better setlists!

It might just be cause Mayhem festival was the first time I ever got to see Mastodon live, I wouldn't mind hearing 4/5 Hunter songs, depending on which ones.
