Behemoth is good, but it peaks at the beginning and the end. The middle seven songs are good though. I love the vocal layering on Oh Father, Oh Satan, Oh Sun!

I don't know why but I got a digipack version with a DVD. The packaging is nice but kinda unnecessary and the lyrics in the booklet are in a cool, but unreadable, font. And there's a cardboard sheet stuck to the cover that I can see coming off very easily. Can't say I'm a fan of the packaging.

1. Nashville Pussy - Up The Dosage
2. Iced Earth - Plauges of Babylon

Yep been a slow year so far. I hope to hear new Behemoth & Skull Fist soon though.

Ok I've heard the next truly plausible AOTY candidate next to Warpaint for me. The new Conan album "Blood Eagle" is fucking BEASTLY. It blows their debut into tiny bits of cartilage and bone. This band is sooo damn heavy but never at the expense of songwriting and a great groove. I miss that about most new doom metal. You can hear the single Foehammer here http://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/...nan-foehammer/
