Michael Schenker -- New York, NY -- January 22nd, 2014

Excellent show. Schenker's playing was awesome as expected, but Doogie White also stole the show for me. Only my second time ever seeing him live (first in almost 8 years), excellent vocal performance and was thoroughly entertaining.

Support: Gothic Knights, Awaken (Both bands worth checking out, by the way)

Awaken Setlist:
01 (new song, forget the title)
02 Moment of Truth
03 Death of Me
04 The Spider's Dream
05 Beneath the Surface
06 Awaken
07 Bones to Dust
08 As the Dark, so the Light

Michael Schenker Setlist:
01 Neptune Rising
02 Where the Wild Winds Blow
03 Armed and Ready
04 Cry for the Nations
05 Let Sleeping Dogs Lie
06 Assault Attack
07 Attack of the Mad Axeman
08 Rock My Nights Away
09 Into the Arena
10 Lovedrive
11 Another Piece of Meat
12 Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
13 Horizons
14 Shoot Shoot
15 Only You Can Rock Me
16 Let it Roll
17 Too Hot to Handle
18 Lights Out
Encore:
19 Rock Bottom
20 Doctor Doctor

I could be tempted to see MSG with White. Only time I've seen them was with Gary Barden and they were awful.

Indeed. Barden was weak as hell when I saw them, but it wasn't just his fault. I was already prepared for him not to be the best, but expected to enjoy them musically anyway, particularly Schenker's playing, but they were all plain boring.
