Nonpoint -- Flint, MI -- December 28th, 2013

Tension Head was the 1st band I saw. I've seen em 3 or 4x now, and I'm just not a fan.

Nonpoint headlined. It seems like they play at The Machine Shop in Flint twice a year, and it's always a packed house. Flint is kinda like a 2nd home to them. This show was a lot of fun. They opened their set w/ 2 old school jams, "Mindtrip" & "H.I.V.E." The whole place was bouncing during "Hands Off," per the bands request. I LOVED hearing "Broken Bones." The highlight was "Buscandome" for me b/c I'd never seen them play that live before. I was really hoping to hear that new song called "Dirty Little Hole," but maybe next time. I saw Nonpoint open for Megadeth a few weeks ago, and I'm glad this set was really different. I like it when bands mix it up. Nonpoint is just one of those truly great live bands that brings the energy every time. I've seen them live about 30x now, and it never gets old. Can't wait to see em again next year.

Their set on Megadeth's tour > This setlist

There's Gonna Be A War should be an absolute must-have.

I saw Nonpoint in Milwaukee on September 6 and they played Endure, but honestly I'd rather have seen them play I Said It. I've gotta say The Wreckoning was the biggest highlight for me out of that show though.
Upcoming concerts I'm attending-
Weezer (December 10)
Of Monsters And Men (December 11)
