Skull Fist has put out a couple of tracks from their new album and while the music is great, it sounds like the vocal effects are going to ruin the album:

I think I've talked up this band on here a few times now, but here's the batch of tracks by Hazzard's Cure, a blackened/stoner/thrash band, that I helped record last summer. The physical release of this will be coming out in 2014, but the band decided to digitally release it now. Hope you dudes like it! The last track features Laurie Sue Shanaman from Ludicra, and watching her track the vocals was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in the studio.

That track with Laurie is fucking amazing

According to Stereogum's most anticipated albums of 2014, We can expect Agalloch in April and Pallbearer in August. Also Tomb's Savage Gold in Spring. New Twilight "Beneath The Trident's Tomb" finally comes out in March. According to this site we can expect new Slough Feg around February 18th. Really excited for that, Laser Enforcer debuted last summer in demo form and it was awesome. New Swans comes out next year as well.

In other news new Indian rips, if you loved "Guiltless" the new one surpasses it in every conceivable way.

Is that for real? Quite frankly, I've grown pretty indifferent towards them due to their ridiculous periods of inactivity and declining results when we actually get to hear them. Still, I'd be real interested to hear anything new from Tool, given that there are very few bands more important to me for getting into metal.
