Is he only opening Hamilton, or the whole tour? Obviously they don't think they need proper support bands to sell tickets in Canada.

I saw London (the night before), Hamilton and wherever they're playing the night after. But the ad may have just been for the Ontario shows. He's from Vancouver so all of Canada isn't out of the question.

And yeah, i just bought the tickets based off the Black Sabbath name. But I was hoping for a bit better opener. I was spoiled when I saw them in 1999 and Pantera and the Deftones opened. Mind you, Deftones got a terrible reaction from the crowd (albeit not as bad as a guy with a guitar and a bass drum will).

One of the first things that popped into my head when I saw his videos was "wow, Meg White really was useless in the White Stripes".

Given that the show starts at 8 PM I wasn't expecting much of an opener.

I strongly suspect they book good support in places where they know they're going to need to make people want to travel. So South America, USA etc. In the UK everything's close, so they don't need to. And in most of Canada, so few tours come through that again they don't need to.

It's cynical on their part.

If you didn't see the last run, definitely. If you did, probably
I hate to be the "this might be the last time" guy, but this might be the last time.
