Not bad for FF, I'm way more excited to see them right now than Megadeth when they pop on over here.

One note to add to this. Regular ticket sales might be down, but I bet there's a shit ton of suckers out there doing the VIP package thing, which makes up a lot of lost revenue. When you only have to sell 1 VIP package ($200 frickin' dollars) per 5 tickets lost, I bet you the revenue evens out quite a bit. Plus merch sales...Dave's ego has to be through the roof but in the end he is fooling himself.

Yeah, so that's the 3rd US run this year with essentially the same setlist.

I have seen them twice already.

Maybe its because they invested all the $$ into the elaborate stage show / video they have to go with each song?

Still, comes across lazy.

Just as lazy as their tour packages have been too.

It's been a few years since I've seen Megadeth live. After seeing this thread, I looked back to the previous times I've seen Megadeth to see how many songs they played.

2004 (The System Has Failed tour) -- 21 songs
2005 (Gigantour) -- 19 songs
2006 (Gigantour 2) -- 17 songs
2010 (Rust In Peace tour) -- 16 songs
2010 (American Carnage w/ Slayer) -- 12 songs

Looking forward to seeing them play 10 songs in 2014, LOL.

This time last year they were playing a good length setlist with all the deep cuts from Countdown. So clearly they can play normal lengths with interesting material, they just choose not to a lot recently.

I was hoping they'd at least play for an hour and a half with 17 or so songs, but I guess that's too much to expect of Dave these days. They also had Tornado of Souls listed on the set (see comments http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/megade...-73c4ce61.html) but didn't even play that for some reason. Not to mention the sound quality was horrible - all bass and drums, hardly any guitars and vocals. The down-tuning didn't help either, which was extremely noticeable during Trust and Symphony. All of this was made even more ridiculous considering the fact that the other 2 bands sounded just fine.
Don't feel quite as bad about not making it to the Madison date then. Tornado Of Souls was the song I was most sad about missing based on setlists prior to the show and they didn't even play it. The only song I haven't seen live in this set is Set The World Afire. For a Super Collider World Tour headline date, for them to only play one song off the album is also disappointing. I know it's not a popular opinion but I think Super Collider is a great album, their best since United Abominations in my opinion. Anyway, if someone gets the Nonpoint set from the Madison show please post it here or on setlist.fm
