Had a blast as the 2011 Fest. Such a great hardcore lineup, Biohazard, Hatebreed, TUI, Bury Your Dead, Blood for Blood. Yeah their rules kind of suck and their organizer was a complete dick to me when I inquired about filming, but I thought the atmosphere was great. I'd love to make another road trip depending on the lineup.

I thought their hardcore stage had no rules.

There's no rail upstairs and they allow stage diving, so yeah there's no rules. The only thing The Palladium is strict about is filming.

You're right in that aspect. I was referring to their no leaving and filming policies.

Venue is also strict about one person buying two beers, which is very annoying.

Been to this festival twice (2013 and 2003), usually a very good time.

I didn't know that, I just turned 21 this year and I don't tend to drink at show so I haven't had to deal with that yet. That's a pretty stupid rule.

It's also very smart. 1 beer at a time per wristband. The last thing you need in the palladium are people double fisting.

I've been to portions of 5 different NEMHFs, including the entire 2002 fest (look it up.... amazing). It's always a funky mix of hardcore kids, metal kids, and people who make it their one palladium appearance of the year.

So far, the lineup has some potential.
