Michael Schenker - New album/NA tour

Legendary guitarist MICHAEL SCHENKER (ex-UFO, SCORPIONS) will be touring North America with Doogie White (TANK, ex-RAINBOW, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on vocals in December 2013 / January - February 2014 to promote the upcoming Bridge The Gap album. Stay tuned for more information about specific dates and venues.

Schenker will release a brand new studio album entitled Bridge The Gap in the UK on Monday, December 2nd. Released by In-Akustik, the album features Schenkerís band Temple of Rock which consists of ex-Scorpions drummer Herman Rarebell and bassist Francis Buchholz, plus singer Doogie White and guitarist, keyboardist Wayne Findlay (MSG, SLAVIOR).

I've never seen Schenker and I'm curious to. When he's on, I keep hearing about how he's one of the greatest of all time. When he's off, it's the stuff of legend, a trainwreck for the ages that has to be witnessed to be believed. I've never read or heard of a lukewarm "meh" reaction to his shows, only one extreme or the other. I feel like it'd be worth checking out in either case.

Also I really liked that Slavior album from 07.

He's been clean for a long while now, at least 5 years.

I saw him on 10/20/2012 at the now defunct Rock Junction in Rhode Island. Nothing short of stellar.

Saw him last year in Foxboro Ma when he came around with McCauley and I was very impressed with the show. Would rather see him tour with Robin again but if this tour comes near me I would check it out.
