Alice In Chains -- Leeds, England -- November 10th, 2013

What a fantastic night. I caught the last few songs of Walking Papers, they sounded pretty good, not really my thing, but they were good at what they do. Ghost were great as always. It was my very first time seeing Alice In Chains live, and I gotta say they completely surpassed my expectations. The set was was brilliant, I was really hoping to hear Angry Chair, and they happened to play to play it as the opener for the encore which sounded perfect, the band was tight, and if anybody could replace Layne, it sure as hell is Willaim Duvall. The only slight problem I had with with set is the fact that they took out Dam That River, but other then that it was one of the best gigs I've been to since seeing Rammstein.

Walking Papers:
Red Envelopes
Climber
Capital T
Two Tickets and a Room
In The Park
King Hooker
Red and White

Ghost:
Infestissumam
Per Aspera ad Inferi
Con Clavi Con Dio
Stand by Him
Prime Mover
If You Have Ghosts
(Roky Erickson cover) Year Zero
Ritual
Monstrance Clock

Alice In Chains:
Again
Check My Brain
Them Bones
Hollow
Your Decision
Would?
Phantom Limb
Grind
Got Me Wrong
We Die Young
Stone
Acid Bubble
Nutshell
Down in a Hole

Encore:
Angry Chair
Man in the Box
Rooster

I have to say, Ghost have really improved their live show. It's good that they've finally realised moving around a bit doesn't spoil the mystique.

Now their problem is their boring-ass songs.

Damn, that's a nice little stretch of songs! Glad they are finally playing Phantom Limb. And anytime they can play Nutshell, it's a great night!

As noted elsewhere, they've played Phantom Limb before, but only in South America.

They change the songs every night, and it's one of the rotation songs. This is still the only night of the UK leg they've played it.

Looks as though they've tried to give each show at least one song none of the other UK shows had. London's was Dirt and Rotten Apple. Leeds got Your Decision, Phantom Limb and Angry Chair. Love Hate Love in Birmingham, Sludge Factory in Manchester, Rain When I Die and Junkhead in Glasgow.
