Captain Phillips and Rush were both great movies. Escape Plan made me laugh though I dont think those were its intentions.

The Counselor was pretty fucking bad. All the problems with it with are based around the script. Can't even believe that such a celebrated author like Cormac McCarthy could write a movie that is so pointless and poorly-developed. I commend all the actors involved for committing fully to their roles and trying to make the most of such a weak script, but it's not even close to enough save this film.

That was my main fault with it. The bad story killed and slowed down the laughs.

I thought it was funny. The story thing didn't really bother me. It's not about the story, the story segments were really only there to set up the pranks.

Yeah I laughed a little but they were awkward, forced laughs.

Yeah I know the story was only filler but it killed the moment sometimes because it'd go from hysterical to not a single bit funny because of it.
