Kerry McCoy from Deafheaven was tweeting that they're on a ballot to be Grammy nominees. That's pretty huge.

To each his own. It would be in my 5 worst cd's of 2013...
Yea I see your point, but for some reason I just love this album, though nothing will ever beat City Of Evil IMO.

Satyricon's new one is still the biggest surprise of the year for me
Picked it up randomly... wasn't expecting much at all (Age of Nero wasn't BAD, per se....but it was rather bland) and was blown away.

Anybody else heard the new Steel Panther single? I think it rocks hard and I personally can't wait to hear more from the new album.

I thought it was pretty disappointing. I like the band, but the second album was a lot worse both lyrically and musically than the first. It's looking like this new record will follow suit.

Lyrically I could agree with but musically heck no, the guitar riffs in 17 Girls In A Row are some of the best metal riffs of all time IMO.The new track does seem to take a different approach though, similar to another current glam metal band Reckless Love.
