This was my 8th time seeing Alice and it was another great show as usual. The stage was extremely low and close so I could have easily reached and and touched him. I was on the rail in the center right in front of Alice's little podium. We didn't get the spark shower during Hello Hooray likely due to venue size but it was cool to hear that one and House of Fire. He's Back was one that I had been really looking forward to. Caffeine was really funny with the giant coffee mug he brought out and Department of Youth was another track I'd never see him do before. The snake was almost a little too close for comfort during Welcome to my Nightmare. The covers section was cool, I like Revolution the best out of them all. Ballad of Dwight Fry saw Alice in a straight jacket kneeling over about a foot from my face. My girlfriend took some pictures of this part of the show and I reminded her to turn the flash off because we would have just about blinded him at that distance. He brought out all his usual tricks such as the guillotine, Frankenstein monster, confetti, snake, etc. Bringing him out on the gurney was a cool way to start the covers section. During Dirty Diamonds when he was throwing out beads he went to hand one to my girlfriend and then when she reached for it he threw it up to the balcony which was pretty funny.

Can't wait to see him again.

Merch was a little overpriced at $40 a shirt but I got one anyways as I haven't bought anything from him the last five times I had seen him.

Saw this show on the 18th. During the covers, they sang and played over the original tracks. All I could hear was John lennon, Morrison, etc.. singing. I didn't really see the point. Not his best set list in my opinion. The great thing about him is he always mixes it up from tour to tour. If you go see him enough chances are you will hear what you want. My only gripe is they don't do the song I Love the Dead. Years ago they did the whole song lyrics included, now just the chorus. Small thing to gripe about, but I like the song and miss seeing it in its entirety..

Really? I didn't hear any sort of backing tracks. And it seemed like Revolution was played noticeably faster than the studio track so I wouldn't think that would work out.

He really only mixes in some of the more popular songs, and then brings out one or two rarer tracks per tour since I've been seeing him. He also does a pretty bad job of playing new stuff, because he's always on a tour when his new album is released but can't change his setlist to add new songs. For years now he's been hinting at adding something from Raise Your Fist and Yell, but it hasn't happened.

I would still love to have seen this tour, because I really want to hear House of Fire and He's Back.

That would be awesome. I would love to see Gail, or Roses on white lace. I saw him on that tour way back when. Great show

Yeah, Raise Your Fist and Yell stuff would be cool. I'd also like to see something from Dragontown.

Going Halloween night--would love ALL of Dead too, & instead of the covers, Trash, (or one of his own tunes at least), to be honest.

Thanks for the review--getting excited!

I don't get why he doesn't at least play Freedom - great song.
