Attendance figure from one of my friends who works at the Garden: 5,700.

So, they could've done Tsongas & not even sold it out.

They should have made this A House of Blues tour

I know ticket prices are a bit high for this tour, but for a band whose last 2 albums sold over 150,000 copies in the first week, this is quite shocking.

They played St. Louis on Friday and it sold better than I expected. By the time A7X came on I'd guesstimate 7000 to 8000 people in attendance.

I think House of Blues would still be wayyyy to small for A7X. Doesn't Deftones usually headline HOB-sized venues?

This tour seems way more suitable for smaller ampitheatres/arenas (5,000-10,000) if anything else.

Yup. Deftones just did the Boston HOB earlier this year, and that's the biggest one (2,425 capacity). The smallest one is New Orleans (I think) with a capacity of around 850.

You know, my friends in the lawn said the exact same thing, but i was in the back left seats and I thought they sounded awesome. Sure, it wasnt perfect, but it was pretty damn good. It might have just been an issue based on where you were.

I noticed that tickets for upcoming shows aren't more than $55. That's pretty cheap for an arena show and there's no reason they shouldn't be selling less that 10,000 per show at those prices. Were they that much more for The Garden?
