Only 2 new songs are performed? I would think QR would want to do at least 5 or 6 songs. Especially the ones that are going to be featured on the mini movie coming out. I wonder why they're doing so little from the new album.

Several reasons, but the main ones are: no one cares about it, and the original shows on the Return To History tour were cancelled, these are the make-up shows, so they're playing more or less the same setlist as the US has been getting.

Plus, if they added more new ones, you know the ones to be sacrificed are going to be the rare ones, not Silent Lucidity and Empire, so it's better this way.

Got to say though, Todd La Torre is awesome. The new album really doesn't do justice to how he handles vocals in Queensryche.

I get what you're saying, but I think people actually do care about the new album. I love it, and everyone I know that's into Queensryche loves it, and would prefer to hear more new stuff live. Honestly, I'd sacrifice songs like En Force and Child of Fire to get others like In This Light and Spore.

Look at Queensryche's Facebook page, their forums, and the reviews on Amazon and then tell me nobody cares about the new album.

I would expect them to play new songs, even if it's a make up show from dates scheduled before the albums release. Nothing worse than seeing a band with a new record out and having them play little off it.
