So I guess Gravity's not to be missed huh? I'm really interested in seeing it, my kind of sci-fi and Cuaron's cool, but I totally cannot stand Sandra Bullock. Is she passable in this?

Saw Prisoners today with my wife. Holy fucking shit. Great film. Had me squirming in my chair (in a good way) quite a bit of the way through. Several actors put out some major performances, too - especially Hugh Jackman.

Yes, it's true - not only can ol' Wolverine sing and dance...fucker can really act, too.

Prisoners was pretty great. The whole film had a really tense atmosphere and while the film takes a while to develop, it was essential to get to the climax (which was unexpected and incredibly satisfying.) I agree with Nat, the performances were absolutely fantastic as well. Hugh Jackman gives the performance of his career and Jake Gyllenhaal continues his hot streak with another award-worthy performance.

See I thought Prisoners was greatly acted by the two leads but the pacing wasnt my thing, some sequences just dragged. Cool plot though!

Saw Don Jon and Runner Runner today

Don Jon was great, way better and different than expect. A rather graphic at times movie that strays away from the bullshit romances that plague today.

Runner Runner was good but predictable. Justin Timberlake playing a college kid is hard to believe.

When was it graphic? The porn clips the movie shows dont even display much. Ya want graphic watch Requiem for a Dream or Shame. Those movies deal with a much more severe form of addiction.

Yeah I'm kind of confused how you found Don Jon graphic as well. The porn clips they showed were really, really tame.

I didn't expect any porn shots, like at all haha. Didn't know you could get away with that many and keep it R rated.
