It's too bad they've been so quick to drop songs from "Call To Arms". That's probably the strongest Saxon album of the 5 I've heard.

That's an awful short Saxon set. Fuck yeah for Dogs of War though. If they bust out Unleash the Beast in LA I might cry.

I've seen some 22 song sets for their European shows. Wish they'd bring a set like that to their US shows. Still, seeing them this weekend will be my first time. I'm stoked!!!

This something that is beyond me. Why are the setlists in Europe always longer than in North America? I'd LOVE to see a 2-hour long Saxon show. Why isn't it possible to get that here?

It was the same this winter with U.D.O., who usually does at least 2 hours in Europe but played only 90 minutes here.

I was in Montreal 2 days ago and Saxon were just killer, as always. They played 16 songs for a total of around 90 minutes.

Looks like there's a song that changes every night. Crusader got played in New York, we got This Town Rocks in Montreal and Toronto got The Eagles Has Landed yesterday.

I was at NY show at BB Kings. I posted the set to setlist fm.
I sat next to sound guy, middle of the bar.
On the typed setlist in the 7 spot it says request.

When I saw them in LA two years ago they did something like 22 or 23 songs.
I think the show was just short of 2 hours. I have no fricken idea why the set's been cut down so much, 15 songs couldn't be more than like 75-80 minutes or so, especially since Saxon don't really pad shit out except on Wheels of Steel.
