Testament are great live. That ad seems pretty professional for a fake but who knows? Testament is busy up until Thanksgiving with the LoG tour though.

Testament's sound is so bad that I can't tell what songs they are playing. I've seen them twice where that was the issue (of the 3 times I've seen them, but the third time they definitely weren't doing their own sound), and my brother has seen them a couple more as well and said the same thing.

Also, I was disappointed by their lack of professionalism on the Overkill tour. The Toronto date was the first one were Overkill officially dropped off, and Testament cut their set short because Chuck Billy was sick. That was fine, but they didn't even bother giving an explanation to the crowd. We only got 12 songs instead of 16. Combined with no Overkill, and I don't really feel like we got our money's worth there.

I have no problem buying their future albums, but I don't want to pay to see them live anymore.

That's too bad. I've seen them in a small club, a large concert hall and an outdoor amphitheater and they've sounded amazing eacht time.

I used to love Warbringer live. But ever since they got the new drummer and released Worlds Torn Asunder they've just been boring. They slowed down a lot of good parts on all their songs live now. Oh well, Overkill and Kreator are gonna kick ass, that's for sure.

That was my issue with them. I saw them in 2012 for the first time and they opened with Living Weapon, but played it slower than on the record. That just doesn't work for thrash.

I was at that show too, and I'll agree it was incredibly disappointing to have no Overkill and Testament play a shortened, basically death-metal-vox-only set, but Testament's sound was fine. They sounded heavy, and I could hear everything so I'm not sure what you were hoping for.

Oh, and to comment on your earlier post, Overkill fucking mops the floor with Destruction as far as live performances go. Overkill mops the floor with most bands though.

Fucking right dude. Their music is so sick. I'm stoked for the new album. I just hate that I have to wait for it...
