Well there goes any chance of Bon Jovi ever making a rock album again. Word is Richie Sambora has been officially fired.

Mind you, if they keep Phil X as a permanent replacement, he's a pretty heavy guy. He's largely responsible for the sound of Alice Cooper's Brutal Planet album, not that I expect Bon Jovi to make anything that heavy, but he might at least steer them back towards actual rock music.

I'm pretty sure the National Report is satire, kind of like The Onion.

Just googled "arizona gay to straight program" and got some websites saying it was a hoax.

Moving on. Been playing a game on my phone (Android) recently called '4 Pics 1 Song'.

It's all in the title really. You get four pictures as clues, and a jumbled set of letters, and you need to get the song title.

Was expecting it to be all shitty pop, but I've had songs by Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, KISS, Lynyrd Skynrd, Soundgarden, Soulfly, Dredg, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Rob Zombie, and several other metal/rock bands.

Not necessarily always the most obvious ones either.

I'm getting to work on a really in-depth article about the upcoming Impaled album, a re-recording of The Dead Shall Dead Remain called The Dead Still Dead Remain. I've got individual in-person interviews with all the Impaled guys set up, along with Leon del Muerte who played on the original album and the re-recording. I'm really excited for this, it's the closest thing to legit journalism that I've ever done (or probably ever will do). I've been wanting to try the "interview article" format for ages now too, I'm so sick of Q&As.

Just finished watching Halestorm's "Here's To Us" music video witch came out a couple of weeks ago, and I gotta say it was pretty cool vid, the shift from present to 80's to 90's back to present than to 80's, 90's, and then present again was a really cool idea.
