Emperor are only doing 4 dates worldwide in 2014. Wacken, Bloodstock, and Sweden Rock already confirmed. Smart money must surely be on Hellfest for the fourth one, maybe Graspop, but I don't see Hellfest passing up the chance.
Yeah, Hellfest usually get first dibs on this stuff, then Graspop get it the following year.

Well, it's now six dates worldwide. Two dates added in Japan in July.

But with Trym on drums because Japan won't let Faust in.

I hope they play some "later" material, I'm probably the only one who likes their last few albums more than their very first.

^ Always been a huge fan of Prometheus. I think it's a master work in its own right. (I think IX Equilibrium was their worst album though).

Definitely! The first album has some classics, but every album beyond that just has some GREAT songs! (Curse You All Men). Prometheus was just weird, in an awesome way, definitely a bit of foreshadowing as to what Ihsahn would later write for his solo material.

This gives me hope that they might do a few North American shows.

Samoth was able to get in the US for the 2007 shows. For the 2006 shows his visa was not approved in time, but they played without him.
