My current top 10 ATM:

August Burns Red - Rescue And Restore
Shai Hulud - Reach Beyond The Sun
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
Scale The Summit - The Migration
Rotten Sound - Species at War
The Ocean - Pelagial
Defeater - Letters Home
Defeated Sanity - Passages Into Deformity
Killswitch Engage - Disarm The Descent
The Black Dahlia Murder - Everblack

Definitely gonna change with more listens, and all the albums coming out are going to move a lot of albums out.

I really like the new Fleshgod. It doesn't top "Mafia", but it is still a great release.

The neww A7X sounds like Countdown to Extinction/Cryptic Writings. Not exactly bad, but anyone who liked their original sound will fucking hate it.

Yeah I was a rather big A7X fan and this album is them trying to be a radio hard rock rock. All slower songs, no screams, and just a lot of slow chorus'.

I loved all their other CDs but the new one doesn't have that epic experimental sound like "A Little Piece of heaven" or "Victim" not a single standout track on the new CD.

That's just wrong. Every die-hard Avenged fan I know really enjoys it.

I like that song Hail to the King. I don't think it's them trying to be accessible, I think it's them just jamming and writing cool songs. If Hail to the King was released by a smaller band, people would dig it as a simple groovy rock song, but because it's Avenged Sevenfold, it's sell-out radio rock.

Not true.

I have zero problem with the song, the problem is every song on the album sounds like this! the only song to have any kind of tempo change or double bass is Planets. the rest is like I said, Mid career era Megadeth.
