Avenged Sevenfold -- Mashantucket, CT -- August 9th, 2013

This was the first time seeing A7X, and they were pretty good. Got a balcony ticket for only $35, and managed to win enough on a slot machine before the show, so that dinner and the concert were paid for, so it was a good night!

A surprisingly short set, considering that there was no opening band! But that's casino shows for you...

The rumor online was that pyro would not be allowed, since it's a relatively small venue, but that turned out to be incorrect - there was plenty!

The band had to start one song (Buried Alive?) over again, when a fight broke out in the pit right up front, and they stopped playing until things settled down.

SETLIST:

1. Critical Acclaim
2. Beast and the Harlot
3. Welcome to the Family
4. Almost Easy
5. Buried Alive
6. Fiction
7. Nightmare
8. Hail to the King
9. Afterlife
10. Chapter Four

Encore:
11. Bat Country
12. Unholy Confessions
