I can't be the only one wondering how Volbeat jumped up this much in popularity to headline shit like this.

Obviously it's because of Rob Caggiano.

Take a special Wisconsonian to pay at the minimum $42 to see this. There's some stuff that is not bad but wow no way for this much.

$42 is about the price tickets would be anyway for the tour with those top 4 bands.

$42 might get you Volbeat. No way HIM (maybe few years ago when they were popular) or ATR could get away w/ charging that much.

I meant $42 for all 4 bands together. Volbeat charges around that price alone.

The HIM tour that got cancelled was like $30 with taxes and ATR is usually around $25 for a ticket.

Oh I got ya. Still don't know how Volbeat is able to pull off charging that much. But that's just me.

I already have my tickets printed for this festival from when they were purchased in June! Anyone else here going?

Really looking forward to seeing Adam Gontier solo. I saw him with Three Days Grace in 2010. He is one of my favorite modern rock frontmen, along with Maynard James Keenan, Serj Tankian, Corey Taylor, and David Draiman. Also excited to see both Volbeat and Nonpoint for the second time. I also may see Airbourne if they don't conflict with Volbeat and Art Of Dying for my fourth time, if they don't conflict with Nonpoint.

The shows they play in the US are small time compared to how popular they are in Europe.

It's because everyone decided they were super cool when their third album came out. Then they made a really shitty, soft album full of radio hits, so all the kids like them now.

Their first two albums are still brilliant. After that, a whole load of meh.

I'm okay with Volbeat heading in the way of their popularity overseas over here. Solid pop metal/hard rock.
