Pacific Rim was pretty fucking awesome, 1st movie I've seen since This is the End that lived up to my expectations. Some of the crazier action scenes put on film in a while and it was just a fun-ass movie where you actually gave a shit about characters.

Because it's not. The villain was lame and the first bits of the movie were very boring. It's not even close to being top anything. Ironman was great, the sequels that came after not so much.

Also, the universe is one of the most fully fleshed out worlds I've seen in quite some time. On the other, it's a bit cheesy and pretentious, especially with the whole "teamwork" motif. You can really tell this was Guillermo del Toro's passion project, and that's something I loved. It's a simple concept, but that's part of the charm for me.
I found the movie to be not as over the top as I expected. Like the robots and monster battles were too slow and chunky, I mean if the movie isnt gonna be realistic(cmon the story is so chessy) then why not make the fights more fast paced and ridiculous. Also the bots and monsters themselves were so uninspired. The effects were nice however.

Really enjoyed Pacific Rim, those fight scenes entertained the hell out of me! Just finished Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. DC have the market cornered on animated comic book films, it was dam good. Brought a tear to the eye and it's good to see Flash get some dam credit!

I loved Pacific Rim a lot. The action scenes were great. But the story was good too. Somewhat predictable near the end though. Charlie from Sunny in Philadelphia's character was funny. Usually these big special effect flicks have little or no substance. This one did.

I rented Spring Breakers out of boredom today and while I can't really say I liked it, it definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Gucci Mane deserves an Oscar.

I really want to see RIPD lol. I think it looks like like good corny wannabe MIB, plus it is based off a combo.

And for Turbo, I have a love for animated movies.

The Conjuring was great.

RIPD, not so great. Kinda sucky and it had so much potential too.

I loved The Conjuring. Few horror movies are able to retain being scary throughout the entire thing. Characters are great, no dragged out bits. and a perfect mix of pop out scares and suspense.

Ending was lame though but I'm kinda glad it went that route because it always goes the other route.
