That's as may be, but without harsh vocals, it's not melodic death metal, now is it? It's just melodic metal.

You should check out Dark Tranquillity. They have Harsh Vocals, but it isn't too hard on the ears for "noobs" (not being a douche, fyi). Some clean vocal songs as well, you may dig.
