See. No waiting 6 months.

Lykathea Aflame - Elvenefris
2001
Experimental Deathgrind

Think Nile, with technical prowess and a middle eastern groove. Now grind it up into something that proceeds to invade my ears as being extremely unique. Very Progressive riffs and experimental touches make this grind album stand out from the pack of a rather sloppy, and minimally engaging genre. Do not get me wrong I listen to Grind a solid amount, alas I am extremely finicky with what I am listening to. This is one conjures a fair amount of melody, brutallity, and technicality into a grandiose unique package, fans of metal should experience.
All the songs are well structured and stand out in their own way.

This album is phenomenal.
This review is not, it fails to get it justice

Vektor - Black Future
2009
Progressive Thrash

I actually discovered this album while lurking the demonic corridors of Metalsetlists. THANK YOU! Not much can be said that has not already been, Numerous human entities claim it is the best thrash in the past few decades. I am wholeheartedly torn. Half the time I agree, the other part I think it is overrated but I think it is always a damn fantastic album, and will always remain one of the reigning tyrants of modern thrash. Vektor shoves more tasteful riffage into each of their songs than Scarface inhales boatloads of crack. "Hunger for Violence" has some goddamn tasty riffs. The only thing that may off put human entities from enjoying the pure, unadulterated riffing sex that is Black Future would be the vocals, alas my love for riffs and tolerance for the vast majority of vocal types I remain unaffected.
Riffs.
Riffs.
Riffs.
Oh My God Riffs.

Here's what you do. Find the song you want on youtube and copy the link. Post in in this format

[U R L ="http://urlforthesongyou.want"]name of song[/ U R L]

Obviously a real URL goes in the quotes, and remove the spaces

When it works it'll look like this

There is nothing "noob" about this list. Some solid fucking albums so far.

I've never heard this band, but I am intrigued with your write up, I'll have to give it a listen!

Back when I liked that kind of music I thought Elvenefris was awesome. Very unique.
